Sarah Morris’ solo exhibition ‘Odysseus Factor’ at UCCA offers the first complete presentation of her film output to date, alongside new monumental wall paintings, works on canvas and a selection of drawings.

Morris has been making abstract paintings and films since the mid-1990s, investigating urban, social and bureaucratic typologies. These works, based on different cities, are derived from close inspection of architectural details combined with a critical sensitivity to the psychology of a city and its key protagonists.
