New York Exhibitions

Coinciding with the opening of Frieze New York, White Cube presents ‘Aerial’, an exhibition of new work by Antony Gormley which brings together two recent developments in the artist’s practice.

Yoko Matsumoto’s second exhibition with the gallery features paintings created by the artist between the 1980s and early 2000s. Producing her abstract, labour-intensive canvases during periods of deep concentration, the artist addresses colour in a processual and meditative manner, elaborately layering hues to create a tracery of nebulous forms and gestures.

Opening in New York in September 2024, White Cube is pleased to present a solo exhibition by Ibrahim Mahama, featuring a new installation and a series of charcoal drawings that take the colonial-era railways of Ghana as a primary point of reference.

November 2024 – January 2025

White Cube is pleased to present a selection of recent ‘Ecriture’ paintings by Park Seo-Bo, the final body of work created by the artist before his passing in 2023. Executed on archival newspaper pages, these works are marked by both the date of the periodical’s release and the artist’s dynamic application of oil paint, and make a profound statement on the entwinement of temporality and creation.
