The building, which dates from the 1970s, was renovated and designed by architects Casper Mueller Kneer. The location on Bermondsey Street in South London is identifiable by its large open courtyard, while the gallery itself features three expansive exhibition spaces including South Gallery II which spans 778m² and the double-height naturally-lit gallery, 9x9x9. The building also houses an auditorium, a bookshop, private viewing rooms and offices and a warehouse.

About Space
27 June – 1 September 2024
Opening in June at White Cube Bermondsey, ‘About Space’ surveys the trailblazing practice of American painter Al Held (1928–2005). With roots in Abstract Expressionism, Held sought and realised novel modes of form, space and colour, navigating spatial complexity through a combination of hard-edged geometry and spontaneous gestural expression.
Tracey Emin, Bermondsey (2024)
Tracey Emin
I followed you to the end
18 September – 9 November 2024
Coinciding with Frieze London, White Cube is pleased to present a major solo exhibition by Tracey Emin. Spanning the entirety of the Bermondsey gallery’s spaces, the presentation features new paintings, works on paper and a monumental bronze sculpture by Emin, whose powerfully expressive, sometimes primal artistic expression marks her as one of the most compelling and singular artists working today.
26 November 2024 – January 2025
Marking 30 years of White Cube's collaboration with the artist, this major presentation will bring together over 30 key works from Jeff Wall's oeuvre including his series of iconic light-boxes as well as new pictures.
