Mona Hatoum is included in the group exhibition ‘The Upset Bucket’ at Whitechapel Gallery, London.

‘The Upset Bucket’ forms part of a year-long programme of exhibitions and events drawn from the ISelf Collection, a private collection of contemporary art which investigates selfhood, personal identity and the nature of being.

Through the works of 28 artists, the exhibition examines how identity is projected through appearances and consumer choices, and how this shapes our sense of self in society.
