Kunst Museum Winterthur presents ‘Mona Hatoum: Routes of Dissonance’, a major solo exhibition offering a comprehensive overview of the artist’s practice. Bringing together sculptures and installations made over almost four decades, the exhibition traces Hatoum’s engagement with displacement, conflict and structures of power.

The presentation brings together works including Over my dead body (1988–2002), Hot Spot (stand) (2018), Map (mobile) (2019), Still Life (medical cabinet) III (2024) and Mirror (2025).

The title ‘Routes of Dissonance’ reflects both the turbulence of the present moment as well as the exhibition’s layout, which offers visitors multiple routes through the galleries.

The exhibition is curated by Konrad Bitterli.
