In early 2026, Mona Hatoum presents a site-specific project titled ‘Over, under and in between’ at Fondazione Prada. The presentation features three installations that reactivate the museum’s Cisterna building, which was once part of a former distillery.

Exploring key elements in Hatoum’s artistic vocabulary, all of a quiver (2022), Map (2015) and Web (2025) reflect on the turmoil of our times and the precariousness of our existence. The three works embody ideas of instability, danger, and fragility, creating a dialogue with the space and the viewer.
