PODO Museum presents ‘A Note From Trembling Things’, a group exhibition featuring Mona Hatoum, at Sunhyewon in Seoul. Hatoum’s work Web (2025) is on view alongside works by Choi Sungim and Kim Yunsoo.

For the exhibition, the three artists foreground natural and man-made materials often overlooked in everyday life – from a spider’s web to plastic and cardboard – and imbue them with a sense of presence and spectacle.

Hatoum’s Web is a large-scale constellation of delicate, transparent glass spheres threaded through wires to create the form of a spider’s web. For the artist, the web symbolises the interconnectedness of all things, offering a stark yet poetic reminder of the physical and psychological webs of entrapment we navigate in life.
