Museo Nivola presents a solo exhibition of works by Mona Hatoum titled ‘Behind the Seen’. The exhibition comes as a result of the artist’s recent residency in Orani, where she explored Sardinia and deepened her engagement with the island’s artisanal practices and local culture.

‘Behind the Seen’ is an exploration of the relationship between body, matter, and land, reflecting on what is visible and what remains hidden.

The exhibition features a selection of Hatoum’s existing works alongside several new productions, some of which were created in collaboration with local artisans.
