Georg Baselitz presents a new work at ‘World Premiere of a Painting’, a unique concert organised by Kunstfest Weimar 2019.

The event will begin with a talk by Sigfried Gohr, an art historian and Baselitz scholar, followed by a vocal performance from Matthias Goerne, who will perform songs in dialogue with the artist’s painting accompanied by the pianist Alexander Schmalcz.
