The Pinault Collection presents a solo exhibition by Michael Armitage at Palazzo Grassi, showcasing a comprehensive overview of the artist’s practice. Bringing together a selection of works created over the past 10 years, the presentation will feature large-format paintings and drawings.

Blending references to East Africa, mythology and Western art history, the exhibition is structured around themes that run through Armitage's practice, such as the expression of politics in individual and collective narratives, mythology and sexuality, and migration issues.
