Works by Michael Armitage, Tracey Emin, Antony Gormley and Anselm Kiefer feature in the 258th edition of the Royal Academy of Arts’ Summer Exhibition.

Co-ordinated by artist and Royal Academician Ryan Gander, this year’s exhibition explores the theme of ‘Interconnectedness’, bringing together contemporary art and architecture by established practitioners, Royal Academicians and emerging artists. Held annually since 1769, the Summer Exhibition is the world’s largest open-submission exhibition.
