Liu Wei and Ibrahim Mahama are set to participate in the forthcoming group exhibition ‘Janus’, marking the opening of Berggruen Arts & Culture’s permanent contemporary art space at Palazzo Diedo in Venice. After two years of extensive restoration work on the Palazzo, the new space launches on 20 April, unveiling site-specific commissions by 11 internationally acclaimed artists, including Urs Fischer, Piero Golia, Carsten Höller, Mariko Mori, Sterling Ruby, Jim Shaw, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Aya Takano and Lee Ufan.

The exhibition, curated by Mario Codognato, Director of Berggruen Arts & Culture, and Adriano Rispoli, Curator of Berggruen Arts & Culture, will debut alongside the 60th International Art Exhibition – La Biennale di Venezia 2024.
