Ibrahim Mahama has been honoured with the title of Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres. One of France’s most prestigious cultural distinctions, the award was presented to the artist by H.E. Mrs Diarra Dimé Labille, the French Ambassador to Ghana, during a ceremony held at the Residence of France in Accra.

The award recognises Mahama’s ongoing contribution and commitment to art and literature in Ghana and beyond.
