A selection of Isamu Noguchi’s bronze, ceramic and stone sculptures, including an iconic ‘Play Sculpture’, are on view in the gardens of the Rijksmuseum.

The exhibition continues indoors with 30 of Noguchi’s Akari light sculptures on view in the Atrium. A selection of ceramic works from the 1950s are presented in the Asian Pavilion, while a chess table designed for a 1944 exhibition is on display in Rijksmuseum’s Room from an Amsterdam Canal House.

‘Isamu Noguchi in the Rijksmuseum Gardens’ marks the 12th installment in the museum’s annual series of free outdoor shows.
