Christian Marclay’s The Clock (2010) is being shown in Berlin for the first time at the Neue Nationalgalerie. Since its debut at White Cube Mason’s Yard in 2010, the 24-hour video work has been exhibited at museums across the world, including MoMA, Tate Modern and the Centre Pompidou.

The video montage, composed of thousands of film and television clips depicting clocks and references to time, will be on view at the museum’s newly constructed cinema space in the Miles Glass Hall.

The Neue Nationalgalerie will host two full 24-hour screenings of The Clock on two special occasions: 5 December 2025 at 10am and 1 January 2026 at 10am.

13 June 2025 – 12 April 2026 | New York

17 April – 1 September 2025 | Boston, Massachusetts

14 March – 25 May 2025 | Stuttgart, Germany
