This spring, Christian Marclay’s The Clock (2010) will be presented by Kunstmuseum Stuttgart. Assembled from thousands of film and television clips featuring clocks and references to time, this 24-hour video montage was awarded the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennale in 2011.

Kunstmuseum Stuttgart will screen the full 24-hour work on two special occasions, giving audiences the rare opportunity to experience The Clock at all hours of the day and night. During the opening week, Marclay will be joined in conversation with the museum’s director, Dr Ulrike Groos.
