Christian Marclay’s 32–minute video Looking for Love (2008) is included in the 15th Edition of the Brighton Film Festival. In the film, Marclay repeatedly raises and drops the needle of a record player, searching for the moment in songs when the word “love” is sung.

Brighton Film Festival’s programme ranges from international cinema and artists’ film installations to education screenings, talks and debates. Patrons include Nick Cave, Paddy Considine, Steve Coogan, John Hillcoat and Henry Normal.
