Antony Gormley awarded Companion of Honour in King’s Birthday Honours

Antony Gormley has been appointed Companion of Honour for his services to art in the King’s Birthday Honours List.

The accolade, which is the highest award in the Honours List, follows the artist’s knighthood in the 2014 New Year Honours for services to arts and his OBE in 1997. There are only 65 Companions of Honour at any one time.
