Antony Gormley and Beatriz Milhazes support Hospital Rooms anniversary campaign

Antony Gormley and Beatriz Milhazes are among ten contemporary artists taking part in Hospital Rooms’ tenth-anniversary campaign, which will bring 10,000 artworks into NHS inpatient mental health hospitals across England.

Titled ‘10 Years. 10 Artists. 10,000 Artworks’, the initiative will see ten posters by ten artists distributed to every NHS inpatient mental health site in England this year. One poster by each artist will be placed in each hospital, forming a nationwide project that brings contemporary art into spaces of care.

The participating artists are Jules de Balincourt, Jeremy Deller, Antony Gormley, Chantal Joffe, Anish Kapoor, Beatriz Milhazes, Daisy Parris, Celia Paul, Grayson Perry and Yinka Shonibare. 

The posters will also be released to the public in two time-limited drops, priced at £100 each:

Drop One: 10–20 July 2026
Drop Two: 3–13 September 2026

Each poster will be printed on high-quality paper and accompanied by a certificate featuring a text or reflection from the artist.

Founded in 2016, Hospital Rooms works with artists, service users and clinical teams to bring art into mental health settings. The ‘10 Years. 10 Artists. 10,000 Artworks’ campaign celebrates a decade of Hospital Rooms’ mission.
