Antony Gormley collaborated with Yale astrophysicist Priyamvada Natarajan to create his first VR work. Lunatick (2019) re-creates the sensory experience walking on the moon. Gormley explains, ‘[it] is the latest tool to extend our consciousness imaginatively beyond the limits of our bounding condition and realise our cosmic identity.’
