White Cube at ART SG

White Cube is pleased to return to ART SG for the second edition of Southeast Asia's largest international art fair.

The presentation will bring together works by artists including Darren Almond, Georg Baselitz, Tracey Emin, Theaster Gates, Antony Gormley, Andreas Gursky, Mona Hatoum, Al Held, Damien Hirst, Marguerite Humeau, Anselm Kiefer, Rachel Kneebone, Imi Knoebel​, Liu Wei, Ibrahim Mahama, Christian Marclay, Julie Mehretu, Isamu Noguchi, Minoru Nomata, Gabriel Orozco, Park Seo-Bo, Jessica Rankin, Raqib Shaw, Danh Vo, and Léon Wuidar.

Highlights from the booth include Mona Hatoum’s Fossil Folly (group of 2) II (2023), an installation comprising old and beaten oil barrels with plant shapes emerging out of their surfaces, Georg Baselitz's bronze diptych Walla Halla (2020) from the artist’s recent venture into bas-reliefs, as well as Andreas Gursky’s large-scale photograph Dior Homme (2004).

Further notable works include Marguerite Humeau’s sculpture The Brewer (2023), from the artist’s ‘Guardians’ series made with honey, wasp venom, ancient yeast, brewer’s yeast, and cultures of Termitomyces; Ibrahim Mahama’s Driver Banza (2013–2022), which continues his investigations into themes of commodity, culture and circular economy, alongside Tracey Emin’s Move me (2015) from the artist’s ongoing series of neon works, featuring snatches of handwritten text elevating fleeting thoughts and feelings as aphorisms.
