Park Seo-Bo awarded the Geumgwan (Gold Crown) Order of Cultural Merit

Park Seo-Bo was awarded the Geumgwan (Gold Crown) Order of Cultural Merit in October 2021. This prestigious honour, bestowed by the Korean government, recognises individuals who have significantly contributed to the nation's cultural and artistic development.

"Park has contributed to the development of Korean art around the world, serving not only as an artist but as a professor at Hongik University and the president of the Korean Art Association. He is indeed a kingpin of Korea’s art world.” the ministry said.
