Harland Miller at the Design Museum

Posted:

10 December 2025 – 25 January 2026

London

An exhibition of paintings and works on paper by Harland Miller opens at the Design Museum this December. Co-curated by Miller and the Design Museum’s Director and CEO Tim Marlow, the presentation includes a selection of new works created specifically for the exhibition.

The show explores how Miller harnesses the principles of graphic design, deploying bright, saturated palettes and an array of typefaces he has created.

Spanning two of the museum’s spaces, the exhibition features monumental large-scale paintings in the Helene and Johannes Huth Gallery on Level 2, with works on paper from the same series displayed in the Atrium.

The exhibition is free to visit, with no pre-booking required.
