Anselm Kiefer’s Bond Street Flags

For this year’s edition of Art in Mayfair, an annual celebration of art and culture in London’s Mayfair district, Honorary Royal Academician Anselm Kiefer has created a series of flags that will adorn the Bond Street skyline from 16 June - 22 July 2025. The flags showcase recent works by Kiefer, including a sunflower motif inspired by Van Gogh.

The display coincides with the landmark exhibition ‘Kiefer / Van Gogh’ at the Royal Academy of Arts, on view from 28th June – 26 October 2025. Tracing the enduring influence that Van Gogh has had on Kiefer over the course of his 60-year career, the exhibition will reveal shared threads of thought, process and subject matter, while also underscoring the individuality of each artist – offering visitors fresh insight into the work of both.

Concurrently, White Cube Mason’s Yard will present a solo exhibition of paintings, sculpture and photography by Anselm Kiefer from 25 June – 16 August 2025.
