Yoko Matsumoto at Fuchu Art Museum

‘The Day I Saw the Evening Star’ opens at Fuchu Art Museum this May. Marking Yoko Matsumoto’s first large-scale solo exhibition in a museum, the presentation brings together around 45 works from the late 1950s to the present day. 

Tracing 65 years of Matsumoto’s practice, the exhibition includes a new painting completed earlier this year, alongside a video interview with the artist.

During the exhibition, Fuchu Art Museum will host a programme of events:
