Klára Hosnedlová's monumental installation, embrace opens at Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart this May. Transforming the museum’s 2,500 square metre historic hall, the commission marks Hosnedlová’s largest solo institutional exhibition and most ambitious sculptural work to date.

Within the industrial architecture of the museum's hall, the artist constructs a utopian landscape featuring 9-metre-high tapestries, site-specific objects, organic reliefs and large scale embroideries.

The opening of embrace at Hamburger Bahnhof will coincide with Berlin’s Gallery Weekend.
