Gabriel Orozco Garden at the Leeum Museum of Art

Posted:

Open from 3 April 2026
Seoul

The Leeum Museum of Art in Seoul presents ‘Gabriel Orozco Garden’ as its first commissioned garden project since opening in 2004. The site-specific installation, conceived for the museum’s outdoor deck, transforms the space into an environment where architecture, nature and the public coexist.

The garden’s design is based on the circle motif that runs through Orozco’s work. Geometric patterns and arrangements originating from a single circle expand across the entire deck, with large and small circles connecting to form ten consecutive spaces called ‘Plazas 1–10’.

‘Gabriel Orozco Garden’ marks the artist’s third site-specific garden project, following his garden at South London Gallery, which opened in 2016, and his designs for Chapultepec Park in Mexico City in 2024.
