Conversations: Ibrahim Mahama at ART SG Perspectives

Ibrahim Mahama will participate in this year’s ART SG Perspectives series. Joining Dean Kymberly Pinder, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Dean of the Yale School of Art, Mahama will explore themes of memory, global narratives, and craft within his practice. The discussion will also examine questions of urban renewal, social responsibility and collaboration, as well as the independence of West African nations and other postcolonial territories.

Taking place over the weekend of the fair, ART SG Perspectives is a series of diverse and engaging discussions featuring artists, curators, art patrons and museum directors.

All ART SG Perspectives events are included with admission to ART SG and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. No registration is required.
