He Xiangyu at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art

Works by He Xiangyu are included in ‘The Allure of Matter: Material Art from China’ at the LACMA.

The exhibition focuses on the relationships that a selection of Chinese contemporary artists have forged with their materials; from plastic and water to hair, gunpowder and Coca-Cola.

This exhibition will travel to the Smart Museum of Art at the University of Chicago, the Seattle Art Museum, and the Peabody Essex Museum in Salem, Massachusetts.
