White Cube at Frieze London 2026

At Frieze London 2026, White Cube presents new paintings and works on paper by Ilana Savdie (b.1986), shown in dialogue with works by artists including Hans Bellmer, Louise Bourgeois, Alexander Calder, Salvador Dalí, Willem de Kooning, Marlene Dumas, Leonor Fini, Gustav Klimt, Maria Lassnig, Egon Schiele and Yves Tanguy, among others.

Based in Brooklyn and raised in Barranquilla, Colombia, Savdie is best known for her vibrant paintings in acrylic, oil and beeswax, which explore themes of performance, excess, resistance and transgression. At the fair, her work is situated within a multigenerational, art-historical lineage of figures who have explored the psychological and material boundaries of the body.
