Part I: 21 February – 13 June 2026
Part II: 18 June – 3 October 2026

The Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian presents ‘Emmi Whitehorse: Intimate Landscapes’, a two-part exhibition that traces the artist’s practice from the 1980s to the present day.

Featuring 40 works, the dual structure of the exhibition invites the viewer on a journey that chronicles Whitehorse’s artistic evolution. Part I of the presentation is titled ‘Light and Space’ and features works made between 1980 and the early 2000s, followed by Part II ‘Line and Form’, spanning 1990 to recent works.

A newly commissioned film documenting the artist’s process, made by Diné filmmaker Kelso Meyer, will accompany the works on view in the exhibition.
