Richard Hunt’s commission announced for Obama Presidential Center

In 2022, Barack Obama commissioned Richard Hunt to create a sculptural work for the Obama Presidential Centre, located in Hunt’s hometown of Chicago. Book Bird will grace the Library Reading Garden outside the new Chicago Public Library branch on the campus.
