The Parrish Art Museum and The FLAG Art Foundation present a new work by Emmi Whitehorse as part of their collaborative FRESH PAINT series, a rotating series of single-artwork exhibitions at the Parrish that spotlights works by both emerging and established artists. For the presentation, Whitehorse has created a new diptych, titled Reseeding Chaco (2026), which will be on view for the first time at the Parrish this summer.

FRESH PAINT provides a platform for artists to promptly showcase created artworks without delay, allowing for a more direct response to current issues and cultural movements. Whitehorse’s presentation marks the seventh iteration in the series.
