Cai Guo-Qiang presents a solo exhibition titled ‘Radiance of Spring’ at the 2026 Normandie Impressionniste Festival. The exhibition, which takes place in Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey, features a new series of gunpowder paintings inspired by Monet's garden at Giverny, created by Cai in dialogue with the iconic architecture of the abbey and the landscape of Normandy.

Marking the centenary of Claude Monet’s passing, this year’s festival invites artists to respond to the legacy of the painter and his artistic inquiries into perception, time and nature.
