Theaster Gates is included in ‘(X) A Fantasy’ an exhibition of new commissions and works by historical and contemporary artists at David Roberts Art Foundation.

Featuring his 2012 work A Roof for the Middle Class, the artworks explore the subversion of the everyday and the transgression of boundaries between public and private spheres.

From living, eating, dancing, seducing, to reading, watching films and going online; the exhibition traces how individual and collective engagements make the political personal.
