This September, the Bourse de Commerce – Pinault Collection presents the first retrospective in France dedicated to the Brazilian artist Lygia Pape. Titled ‘Tisser l'espace’, translating to ‘Weaving Space’, the exhibition is part of the Brazil-France 2025 Season.

The presentation is centred around a major work from the Pinault Collection, the light installation, Ttéia 1, C (2003/2025). The work embodies Pape’s concept of ‘weaving space’, redefining her relationship with the public. Alongside Ttéia 1, C, the exhibition features a selection of Pape’s signature works, from early abstract prints to experimental films.
