Taking over the fourth floor of MAMCO, Geneva, Marclay’s solo show ‘Honk if you love silence’ is dedicated to the place of photography in his art making. Exhibiting approximately 100 pieces in this medium, the exhibition aims to focus on this less-familiar side of his work, and allow the viewer to grasp the diversity of his techniques, ranging from his photograms and cyanotypes to his series of snapshots taken while travelling through different cities around the world.
On 20 September visitors will be able to experience a performance piece by Marclay.
