Organized by MOCA Cleveland this is the first major museum exhibition of Sam Taylor-Woods's work in the U.S. bringing together a selection of 29 works from the mid-1990s to the present. A leading artist of her generation, Taylor-Wood came to prominence in the mid-1990s as one of the YBA’s, Taylor-Wood has since become renowned for deftly manipulating the signature media of our age - photography, film, and video - into compelling psychological portraits that tap into the ethos of our times. After its MOCA Cleveland debut, the exhibition travels to the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston from 2 August until 5 October 2008.
