Sarah Morris at MMK Frankfurt

The Museum für Moderne Kunst Frankfurt am Main is proud to present ‘Gemini Dressage’, a solo show by Sarah Morris. Working within the medium of film and painting, Morris will be exhibiting a selection of works including an extensive site-specific wall painting that spans over 2 storeys of the Museum space. Both media distinctly address urban life, whereby Morris explores the societal codes of the modern city and the formal language in which they are reflected in architecture. In conjunction with her paintings, Morris will also be showcasing the eagerly anticipated ‘Beijing’ (2008), a spectacular film portrait of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
Sarah Morris will also be discussing her work at MMK on 26 May 2009, 7pm as well as being in conversation with architect Nikolaus Hirsch on 9 June 2009, 7pm.
