Darren Almond will exhibit in Japan for the first time at SCAI The Bathhouse in Tokyo. The display will include works from his ‘Full Moon’ series of photographs of atmospheric landscapes, some of which were taken in Japan. Created at night, Almond uses long exposure times to capture the image, solely using the light of the full moon.
Alongside this exhibit, Almond will also show ‘In the Between’ (2006), a three channel video work about the Qingzang railway at Eye of Gyre in Omotesando. This forms part of ‘The Missing Peace: Artists consider the Dalai Lama’ exhibition currently on display at the Hillside Forum in Daikanyama.
