Le Musée d’Art Moderne de Saint-Etienne presents ‘Between You & Me’, the museum debut of Antony Gormley in France. Exhibiting the monumental installations ‘Field’ (1993-2001), ‘Critical Mass II’ (1995) and ‘Allotment II’ (1996) alongside ‘Reflection II’ (2001), Gormley explores the notion of the body as a place of memory and transformation. Using his own body as the origin of production, Gormley re-investigates the relationship between the internal and external space of the human body as well as our relationship with the architectural and natural spaces we occupy.
