Robin Rhode at Hayward Gallery

The Hayward Gallery is excited to present the first major London showing of artist Robin Rhode. Exhibiting a wide range of works, the show will include inventive performances, photographs, video animations and drawings as well as sculptures and site-specific works created at the Southbank Centre. Commenting on urban poverty, the politics of leisure and the commodification of youth culture, Rhode’s art is often acted out on the street as well as inside the gallery space.
Robin Rhode will also be discussing his work in the Purcell Room Lecture Theatre at the Hayward Gallery on 28 November.
