From 13 September, Japan’s largest international exhibition of Contemporary Art, the 'Yokohama Triennial’ will be showcasing a diverse range of new artworks—including videos, installations, photography, painting, and sculpture. The exhibition, located mainly in the Yokohama harbour district will show between 70 and 80 international artists. Plus, a number of site-specific works have also been created for various alternative locations, highlighting the many distinctive charms of the host city. A variety of supplementary events will also be conducted during the exhibition period, including symposiums, workshops and gallery talks to enhance the dialogue among the artists, participants, and the visitors.
