To accompany his recent exhibition at the ICA London, Cerith Wyn Evans has produced this limited edition photograph album. Containing 118 colour photographs shot in various places around the globe, the book is a unique opportunity to view the world through Wyn Evans’ perspective, as the title suggests. The album contains a variety of images, oscillating between the alluring and the brutal. These images of rural landscapes and chaotic urban environments, personal moments and public events, all invite contemplation on various levels. Closely linked to Wyn Evans’ ongoing film work, this edition eloquently demonstrates the way in which individual images are combined in the artist’s practice to create narratives based around a set of coherent conceptual ideologies.
