Marc Quinn's delicate bronze flower sculptures hybridise different elements of plants into one. The apple is one of the fruits that is incorporated into these bronze plants, alongside exotic orchids, vegetables and leaves.
'Apple' sits as a solitary object, as if dropped to the floor from one of these plants. It is lightly coated in cobalt plating that produces a spectrum of unnatural colours.
